John G Mackintosh is pleased to announce a series of senior leadership changes designed to support the company’s continued growth and long-term strategic direction.

After more than 20 years as Managing Director, Scott Hughes has transitioned into the role of Chief Executive Officer. In this capacity, he will focus on shaping JGM’s long-term strategy, strengthening client relationships at a senior level, and guiding the business through its next phase of development.

Mike Thomson has been appointed Managing Director. Having been instrumental over the past nine years in establishing and developing JGM’s Perth operations, Mike brings extensive operational experience and a proven track record of delivery. In his new role, he will oversee the day-to-day management of the business and continue to drive performance across all projects and divisions.

These changes reflect a planned and structured transition that ensures continuity at leadership level while strengthening the company’s ability to scale and deliver across an expanding portfolio.

In addition to the CEO and Managing Director appointments, JGM is also strengthening its wider leadership team with several key promotions:

• Craig Lees has been appointed Director for Perth, supporting continued regional growth and project delivery in the area.
• Andy Clark has taken on the role of Estimating Director, overseeing all estimating functions across the business.
• Andy McKnight continues in his role as Pre-Construction Director, with an expanded remit covering both Edinburgh and Perth operations, including procurement oversight.
• Richard Barrett has been appointed Finance Director, strengthening financial leadership and supporting long-term business planning.
