With a strong pipeline of secured work and a collaborative team culture, we are committed to developing the next generation of skilled engineers and are now looking to recruit an Electrical Apprentice to join our Edinburgh team.

The Role

This apprenticeship provides an excellent opportunity to begin a career within the electrical and building services industry. As an Electrical Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced electricians on projects across Edinburgh while completing your formal training.

You will gain hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and testing electrical systems in a range of commercial and industrial environments, developing the practical skills and technical knowledge required to become a qualified electrician.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist qualified electricians with the installation of electrical systems and equipment,
• Support testing, inspection, and maintenance of electrical installations,
• Learn to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications,
• Assist with fault finding and commissioning of electrical systems,
• Maintain safe working practices and follow company health and safety procedures,
• Attend college or training provider as part of the apprenticeship programme,
• Develop practical skills and technical knowledge through on-site experience

• Interest in pursuing a career in electrical engineering or building services,
• Practical mindset with good problem-solving skills,
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills,
• Ability to work as part of a team,
• Good communication and organisational skills,
• Commitment to completing the apprenticeship programme,
• Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)
